Judaic Papercut Crafts
Goldie Silberberg, the founder of Jewish Craft Cuts has been designing and cutting papercut art for more than two decades.
"I learned the art of papercutting early in my design career, in the primitive days of graphic design, pre-computer, we cut every letter and graphic with an x-acto knife. Over the years my love of pastel drawing and watercolor painting merged with my cutting, and became my papercut art with pastels and watercolors behind them."
After many years of selling her papercut art, she took on the new fun challenge of teaching it.
"Teaching put the art of the papercutting craft into a whole new light for me. I needed to design images that met different levels of ability but yet would also look beautiful and intricate to the viewer."
Goldie developed several different designs, and created a kit that was fun to do. Word of her kits quickly spread. From camps to schools, from seminars to retreats many different people were loving this handmade crafts project.
Here on this website you can learn so much about papercutting and buy kits to create your own beautiful Jewish crafts. We are so happy to share it with you and look forward to hearing back from you. Please contact us with any questions or information.
